Topic 3 Research Assignment #1: The Rhinoceros 4. Albrecht Durer has the superior woodcut. The details he put into his cut go way beyond Burgkmair's level. Because of how detailed the block was cut, it keeps the eye interested because it seems every time I look I find something new. Every single one of the lines serve a purpose and a personality and it is no wonder why Durer was a huge influence all across Europe. 7. Giacomo's rhinoceros is the most amusing one because how silly and cartoony it looks. It also highlights how ridiculous the rhino craze fad is. due to how scared the rhino looks. It is almost like it is saying "save me." Poor baby.

Topic 2: Assignment #4 Quadrant Abstraction Progress First I drew the animation frame by frame in fire alpaca, a program that allows you to animate layer by later. Then I added an animated background so she won't be floating in space. This was the first drawing of the background but it was ugly so I redid it. Last, and the hardest part of all... I put it all together in sony vegas. I'm still trying to learn how to use this program but I found some new things you can do with it while making this. It was really fun too. Like Photoshop it has layers and I can do things like add textures and screens to make my video pop. This is my quadrant by the way. I'm C for Creneesha On an end note, I'm not sure how long this took me but the whole process was painful and now my back hurts.

Topic 2 Pattern and Ornament : Assignment #1: Kit & Instructions On the left is my kit and instructions being done by another classmate, his recreation being the ghost boat without the ghost. And on the right is my recreation of someone else's project, mine being the one with the pointy boat front. 

Wolfsonian Museum Required Outside Visit Selfies I took multiple selfies but these are the best ones    This visit was fun. I ended up meeting classmates along the way.

THIRD ASSIGNMENT: Open Project The final piece  Here are the thumbnails I did. I ended up zooming in on the hot hair balloon so that it can be more rendered and that you can see the expression of the person. I used layers to set color tones in my drawing and ended up with around 13 layers. However some layers were merged so I'm not exactly sure.
